MF72 Power Thermistor: To effectively suppress the inrush current generated by electronic circuits at the moment of power-on, a power NTC thermistor is connected in series with the power supply circuit. This effectively suppresses the inrush current during startup. After suppressing the inrush current, the resistance of the power NTC thermistor drops to a very low level due to the continued flow of current through it, and its power consumption becomes negligible. Therefore, connecting a power NTC thermistor in series with the power supply circuit is the simplest and most effective measure to suppress startup inrush current and protect electronic equipment from damage. The MF72 is the national standard model for power thermistors.
