Description
A Immersed PTC Liquid Heater is a direct immersion heating device that uses a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) ceramic material as its core heating element. Its key feature is its ability to efficiently heat directly in liquids, while also achieving automatic constant temperature control through the PTC material's inherent temperature sensitivity. At low temperatures, the PTC material has low resistance and high heating power, allowing for rapid temperature increases. Once the temperature reaches a certain critical value (the Curie temperature), its resistance increases dramatically, automatically reducing power and stabilizing the temperature within the set range.
Selection Tips
"What's the heating method?" -> Applicable fluids and corrosiveness -> Determine the housing material.
"What power is required? How fast does it heat?" -> Rated power and rated voltage -> Determine the heating speed and circuit design.
"What temperature do you want to heat to? How do you ensure safety?" -> Curie temperature -> Determine the final temperature and intrinsic safety characteristics.
"How will it be installed? What's the installation environment like?" -> Dimensions, mounting method, IP rating, operating pressure -> Determine the mechanical structure and sealing performance.
Application
It is widely used in instant water dispensers, electric water tanks, industrial storage tanks, coffee machines, aquaculture constant temperature equipment and other scenarios where liquids need to be heated directly and quickly.
